Hi, I'm Shannon! I’m a PhD and teacher with a product management certification from CareerFoundry seeking a new role in product management. I’m a critical thinker, highly skilled in finding patterns and insights and communicating them. While I was working on my PhD, I even had a paper published in a top journal in my field without requiring revisions from the publisher, which is practically unheard of in academia! As a teacher now, I work in a very agile-like way, continually using data and adjusting priorities to deliver tailored instruction that has resulted in my students meeting or exceeding growth on state tests year after year. My strong sense of empathy and ability to truly hear my students and respond to their needs has also made me a successful teacher. I’m ready to use my unique combination of skills on a larger scale to grow a company whose values I share.
